17) As a member(Recruit-Commissioner) of the OSHP. You must act mature and realistic in any clan related events. You must also always listen to your high ranking officer and follow ALL G.O.
18) If a member leaves or has been kicked and starts there own clan up, they will be placed on the OSHP Ban List for a minimum of 2 months.
19) All clan members must not interact with ANY ban members of the OSHP, unless it has been specifically approved by a commissioner. If members catch you interacting with a ban member without permission from the commissioner will result in disciplinary actions and possible suspension.
20) While in a clan related event(patrol, training session, etc.), there should be no cussing or inappropriate words coming out of any clan member.
21) While in the clan, you MUST and WILL respect and be mature in front of all members and listen and obey all General Orders(G.O.), even if its not a clan related event.
22) If the Colonel, Promotions Team, Admin, or clan member finds that your gamertag is inappropriate or offensive to maturity, religion, family, ethnicity, or diversity, it will be dealt with disciplinary actions and will have to be changed in order to stay in the clan. If the applicant or member does not change his or her gamertag after being ordered to change it, they will be kicked out and will not be able to join back/attend clan related events until that order has been carried out.
23) If accepted through the application and interview stage, you are to go through the OSHP Academy. While in the Academy, if you do any action that disrespects the trainer or the training lessons, the trainer can and will recommend a suspension or removal from the clan to the Commissioner. If you are received with disciplinary actions, there will be NO objection.
24) If accepted into this clan, we are not responsible for a members actions outside of the clan and we will not get involved. If a member is doing something against the clan or breaking G.O./Clan Guidelines outside of the clan, then we will get involved.
25) This clan was made so members of the XBOX LIVE community can experience whats its like to be a Police Officer in GTA IV TBOGT and in real life. At no point was this made to command or boss someone around. However, in clan-related events, members of the clan will have to listen the highest rank.

Welcome to the Ohio State Highway Patrol general rule book If you're new, please read this rule page to the fullest extent and thoroughly, because if you are ever found guilty of violating a rule, you will receive repercussions for your actions, whether you knew about the rule or not. If you're an existing member, thanks for taking the time to review the rule book!
DISCLAIMER: OSHP has the right to enforce these rules on any OSHP-owned ("OSHP" referring to Ohio State Highway Patrol) and operated website/forum, in any OSHP-hosted game (official or unofficial), or if there is a member vs. member issue that is severe enough for OSHP intervention. Ohio State Highway Patrol also has the right to enforce these listed rules, requirements, and policies on community guests and applicants that may be registered on our website/forums or attend our events. Article 1 - Entry Requirements
Section 1 - General Requirements
1.Ohio State Highway Patrol requires that you are at least 14 years old at the time of applying. Some exceptions may apply to younger, more mature applicants. 2. You must read and accept the OSHP rules, policies, procedures, and requirements and abide by them at all times on any OSHP operated website or during any OSHP event. 3. Lying or submitting false information on your application is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Section 2 - Xbox 360 Requirements
1. You must have a valid Xbox LIVE Gold membership to participate in OSHP events. 2. You are required to have a fully functional Xbox 360 microphone with no static, feedback, echo, or any other disruptions while in OSHP events - No Kinect!
Article 2 - General Community Rules
Section 1 - General Guidelines
1. All OSHP members are to abide by all rules and guidelines set in place by the community, staff, and each department lead. 2. Respect all of your peers, staff, ranked officers, community members, and the community as a whole. If you do not enjoy your time spent in this community, you are free to leave with no questions asked. 3. Follow all instructions given by your superior officials the first time they are issued. If there is a discrepancy, follow all directions, then submit a Complaint Report about the incident on the Enforcement Team page and it will be handled promptly. 4. Any threats to overthrow, hack, disrupt, etc. the community as a whole, any OSHP-operated website, or any member thereof will be immediately banned and removed from OSHP with no further discussion on the subject. 5. Any punishment issued by a staff member is permanent unless an Appeals Form is filed and approved by an Enforcement Team Judge, or the staff member that issued the punishment either removes or decreases the consequences. 6. Any member who submits a OSHP owned form or report that is deemed inappropriate or contains false information by any staff member or staff department is subject to punishment. 7. Insubordination toward any staff member is not permitted. 8. Misrepresentation of the community in any way, shape, or form is not tolerated. 9. Discrimination, harassment, or racism in any way, shape, or form, will not be permitted and will have strict repercussions. 10. Disrespect or unprofessionalism toward or about another member, staff member, or the community itself is not permitted. 11. All members and staff must maintain good judgement and professional manner at all times. 12. Personal information is never to be given to any other person without explicit permission from the person to which the information pertains to. 13. Members are not to participate in or join communities or Xbox LIVE users that are on our blacklist. This applies to any community or user that offers games on Grand Theft Auto IV (and its DLC) for Xbox 360 that is listed on our blacklist. To request a list of the blacklisted communities contact a staff member. Memberships in other communities may not affect your membership and time in OSHP. Additionally, a OSHP member may not hold a position of power or authority in any other clan or community. 14. No behaving in an obnoxious manner or acting in a way that disrupts the flow of events. 15. Always comply with staff directions the first time issued. This also means you must stay out of situations that do not involve you when staff is dealing with a situation. 16. Respect all community members - also meaning arguing with members in events or on OSHP-owned websites is prohibited. 17. Advertisement of other communities on any OSHP-owned website, on your Xbox LIVE profile, or by way of messages to OSHP members is strictly prohibited. 18. Attend all events you RSVP for. Setting your status to 'Attending' and failure to attend an event will result in an Administrative Action Referral (no exceptions unless absence is excused). 19. All rules, requirements, and policies apply in all OSHP events. 20. You must be active for 70% all events hosted in a month. (Active meaning website activity; event statuses set, etc.). 21. All OSHP members are required to possess "OSHP" or "Ohio State Highway PAarol" in their motto/name at all times during their membership with OSHP. Bio advertisement is optional, but appreciated. Special exceptions apply when granted by higher administration. 22. At no time is any member or guest permitted to impersonate a staff member of the OSHP.
Section 2 - Staff Guidelines
1. Staff members are to conduct themselves to the high standard of the position they are in. This means all staff must maintain professionalism and integrity and protect and defend the honor of the community at all times. 2. To apply to a staff position, you must have been in the community for at least 20 days with no Warning Levels or suspensions from the community for 30 days. 3. You are held to a higher standard of integrity and honor than community members - always lead by example. 4. Staff members are never to discuss plans, strategies, or operations within OSHP to other members or communities/organizations. 5. You must meet all requirements and follow rules, guidelines, and policies at all times. 6. Remember the golden rule - Treat others the way you would want to be treated. Be sure to treat everyone with respect and dignity, regardless of your preference or feelings about them. 7. On events, do not edit/delete, or confirm/deny anyone for an event that you did not create without express permission from the event host. 8. To be promoted into a higher administration position on the staff authority structure, you must have completed your Probationary Period as one of the lower staff positions. 9. Failure to perform your assigned duties may result in the removal of you from your position at any time. 10. Recruitment Team members (Field Recruiters specifically) are required to recruit a minimum of 10-15 people per month.
Section 3 - Website/Forum Rules
1. No disrespect or unprofessionalism of or to any other member or about the community is permitted on any OSHP operated website/forum. 2. Indecent exposure or inappropriate posts on any OSHPoperated website/forum may be immediately removed and the member in which posted such content is subject to punishment. 3. Any moderator or administrator on the Forum has the explicit ability to remove posting privileges of any member account at any time for rule violations or other inappropriate behavior without consent from higher staff. 4. Any post that is added to the OSHP website/forum makes the poster liable to any consequence if found in violation of OSHP rules. 5. Any content posted/uploaded on a OSHP operated website/forum agrees to transfer ownership of that property to the community as a whole and not any one person. Exceptions are content hosted on third-party websites. 6. Profile pictures for your account profile must be community-appropriate and must meet all of our rules and regulations. Staff may request that you remove or change your profile picture, and this must be obliged. Consequences will be issued if no action is taken within 24 hours. 7. Profile and Forum fields (signatures, quotes, etc.) put on a member's profile is subject to request of removal from any moderator or administrator if it is found disruptive to others, too large, violated clan rules, or it is deemed inappropriate/unnecessary by a moderator or administrator. To have permission to replace your signature that has been removed, please have a copy of the picture in its entirety the way it was on the day it was removed and present it to the Colonel !
IN GAME RULES
Section 2 - Lobby Rules
1. Do not speak at any time a staff member is speaking. 2. Remain on the team you signed up for unless instructed differently by a staff member. 3. Ready up when you are on the correct team. Stay unchecked if you have a question/comment to share. 4. There must be a minimum ratio of 3 officers:5 civilians before the game begins. 5. There must be a minimum of 8 people in the lobby before the game begins or the event is cancelled.
Section 3 - Civilian Rules
1. Always obey police officer instructions while handcuffed. 2. Any civilian who is tased must remain still for at least 10 seconds. Punishment for failing to do so will be at the discretion of the law enforcement team leader. 3. All pursuits and scenarios must be individually approved by the civilian team leader. Any person that does unauthorized pursuits or scenarios is subject to removal from the game and any further punishment at the discretion of a staff member. 4. If during a pursuit, your vehicle hits something with a fair amount of realistic damage, the vehicle is considered no longer operable. You must come to a complete halt when the police declare your vehicle not operable. 5. Killing the dispatcher is prohibited if s/he is stationary at a police precinct. 6. The shooting/killing of police officers is only to be done with the approval of a staff member. 7. Shooting the tires of a police vehicle at a precinct is not permitted. 8. You must be at your house between the hours of 23:00 - 05:30. 9. Entering a police vehicle without permission from a supervisor or a staff member is prohibited. 10. Spree-killing is not permitted. 11. Disconnecting from the game session to avoid a jail sentence is not permitted. 12. If you are wanted by a police agency, you remain wanted regardless of the amount of times you die. 13. Killing or injuring a fire fighter/paramedic is strictly prohibited. 14. Leaving an event to evade police action without reason is not permitted. 15. Pursuits are not occur with vehicles that exceed a top speed of 200mph.
Section 4 - Law Enforcement Rules
1. All law enforcement officers are to abide by their respective department handbook and departmental policies and procedures at all times. Punishment is subject to department leads, however, administrative action requires staff approval. 2. Following a civilian for more than 1 minute is prohibited. 3. Self-dispatching is prohibited unless instructed by the dispatcher or a superior officer. 4. Police communications are to remain clear at all times with the exception of standard radio traffic. 5. Insubordination will be handled at the discretion of superior officers. Administrative action requires staff approval.
Section 5 - Modding Rules
1. No mods are permitted into events without approval from one of the Leaders or the Co-Lead. 2. Any modder who possesses freeze vehicles in an event is subject to immediate suspension or membership termination. Exceptions may apply when approved by a Co-Lead or Leader. 3. Any modder who uses excess/unnecessary force to diffuse a situation is subject to immediate consequences. Exceptions may apply when approved by a Co-Lead or Leader. 4. Any modder who uses player and/or vehicle invincibility as an unfair advantage is subject to immediate consequences. Exceptions may apply when approved by a Co-Lead or Leader. 5. Any modder who uses mods that did not go through the mod evaluation by one of the Leaders or the Co-Lead or uses mods that were rejected is subject to immediate consequences. Exceptions may apply when approved by a Co-Lead or Leader. 6. Any modder who uses mod features that are not permitted or that has been warned against using them is subject to immediate consequences. Exceptions may apply when approved by a Co-Lead or Leader.

You must come to a complete halt when the police declare your vehicle not operable. 5. Killing the dispatcher is prohibited if s/he is stationary at a police precinct. 6. The shooting/killing of police officers is only to be done with the approval of a staff member. 7. Shooting the tires of a police vehicle at a precinct is not permitted. 8. You must be at your house between the hours of 23:00 - 05:30. 9. Entering a police vehicle without permission from a supervisor or a staff member is prohibited. 10. Spree-killing is not permitted. 11. Disconnecting from the game session to avoid a jail sentence is not permitted. 12. If you are wanted by a police agency, you remain wanted regardless of the amount of times you die. 13. Killing or injuring a fire fighter/paramedic is strictly prohibited. 14. Leaving an event to evade police action without reason is not permitted. 15. Pursuits are not occur with vehicles that exceed a top speed of 200mph.
Section 4 - Law Enforcement Rules
1. All law enforcement officers are to abide by their respective department handbook and departmental policies and procedures at all times. Punishment is subject to department leads, however, administrative action requires staff approval. 2. Following a civilian for more than 1 minute is prohibited. 3. Self-dispatching is prohibited unless instructed by the dispatcher or a superior officer. 4. Police communications are to remain clear at all times with the exception of standard radio traffic. 5. Insubordination will be handled at the discretion of superior officers. Administrative action requires staff approval.
Section 5 - Modding Rules
1. No mods are permitted into events without approval from one of the Leaders or the Co-Lead. 2. Any modder who possesses freeze vehicles in an event is subject to immediate suspension or membership termination. Exceptions may apply when approved by a Co-Lead or Leader. 3. Any modder who uses excess/unnecessary force to diffuse a situation is subject to immediate consequences. Exceptions may apply when approved by a Co-Lead or Leader. 4. Any modder who uses player and/or vehicle invincibility as an unfair advantage is subject to immediate consequences. Exceptions may apply when approved by a Co-Lead or Leader. 5. Any modder who uses mods that did not go through the mod evaluation by one of the Leaders or the Co-Lead or uses mods that were rejected is subject to immediate consequences. Exceptions may apply when approved by a Co-Lead or Leader. 6. Any modder who uses mod features that are not permitted or that has been warned against using them is subject to immediate consequences. Exceptions may apply when approved by a Co-Lead or Leader.
